Smart Communities
We develop decision support systems, such as AI-generated digital maps for climate adaptation, multi-purpose use, and natural resource planning, in collaboration with various national authorities, including the Swedish Forest Agency, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, the Geological Survey of Sweden, and the Swedish Transport Administration.
Sustainable Industry
We examine value chains, new biomaterials, attractive forestry jobs, and develop solutions for data supply, decision support, and automation in forestry in collaboration with the industry.
Future Health
We work on a range of topics, from researching the impact of forests on drinking water quality to the importance of urban-adjacent forests for public health, primarily in collaboration with the public sector.
